About Express Orders shipped within USA:
All orders are subject to proper verification of billing address. If the billing address does not check out, we will send email requesting correct billing address and additional information. In the meantime, the order will be have the staus of "cancelled" or "on hold".
We are happy to ship your order to an address that is different from the billing address only if we can ensure that the order has been placed by the cardholder. This may take 2 to 3 business days.
"2nd Day Air" means 2 business days. Thus, orders placed before 11 am on Monday for 2nd Day Air are likely to be delivered on Wednesday. However, order placed after 11 am Monday will ship on Tuesday and delivered on Thursday. If there are intervening holidays, delivery will take longer.
UPS and FedEx charge extra for Saturday delivery of Next Day Air orders. 2nd Day Air or UPS Ground shipments are not delivered on Satudays.

About shipments outside USA:
MINIMUM ORDER FOR SHIPMENT OUTSIDE USA $100.00.
We can not ship until your credit card is fully verified. Verification of credit cards issued outside USA may take up to one week. If we are unable to obtain complete verification of your credit card, we will either request additional information or request that funds be wired into our bank account.
Authorities in the destination country may impose customs duty, V.A.T., excise taxes or some other taxes. UPS may also levy a brokerage fee. The customer (or the recepient), not Corkscrew International, is responsible for these charges.
We obtain a proof of shipment and a tracking number for all international shipments. If the shipment for your order is lost in transit, we will file an insurance claim on your behalf after we receive a signed declaration on paper from you through regular mail. We will do our best to recover the value of the lost package from the insurance company, and either replace the lost goods or refund you.
If authorities in destination country return the shipment, shipping costs will not be refunded.

Following options are available for shipment of goods outside the United States:
- US Postal Service Global Express (4 to 5 days)
- UPS Express(3 to 4 days)
The times stated above are best estimates supplied by service providers. However, Customs services in many countries may impose significant delays in processing shipments.
Orders within the United States are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air & UPS Next Day Air.
If your order exceeds US$500, and if you have a DHL, FedEx or UPS account, we can ship via that account.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for deliveries within the United States. If you want faster shipping, please contact us at sales@corkscrewi.com. We will respond with a shipping quote.

Payment Methods
We accept credit cards from Australia, Canada, Japan, United States, and most countries in Western Europe. However, all credit card transactions are subject to authorization and verification of customer supplied information. If we are unable to verify the authenticity of a Credit Card's use, we will ask for further information.
We also accept irrevocable letters of credit, wire transfers and dollar denominated bank drafts and postal money orders from most parts of the world. Please send us email for further details sales@corkscrewi.com.

Customs
International customers please check with your country for restrictions, duties, and taxes collected from your country. The customer is responsible for any V.A.T.'s, duties, customs charges, or any other applicable fees in the country of delivery. There will be no refund on shipping costs if our product is rejected and returned by customs or delivery failure.

Lost & Damaged Goods
All merchandised shipped by Corkscrew International is insured either through the shipping service or our Insurance company. In the event a package is lost in transit we will need a declaration signed by the customer to the effect that neither he (or she), nor anyone else at the destination address ever received the package. We will present the claim to our insurance company.
For International Airmail, the package may be considered lost if it has not been delivered within 30 days from the day it was shipped. The corresponding time period for International Surfacemail is 2 months.
All shipments within the United States have either Delivery Confirmation or a tracking number. Corkscrew International will not be responsible if delivery confirmation or tracking service indicate that the package has been delivered.
In the event, merchandise is damaged in transit, the customer must inform Corkscrew International within ten days of delivery. We may ask for return of merchandise or some other proof of damage. All damage claims will be submitted to the insurance company.
