A reproduction of the original Champion wine opener that dominated the cork removal market from 1919 through 1933 during the prohibition era. This wine opener has been slightly modified to allow you to easily open most of the new flange topped bottles. This wine opener can recork bottles as easily as it uncorks them. The Champion wine opener is constructed of zinc die-cast metal and hand-finished. The model shown here has a soft & warm antique pewter finish. A great gift idea. Manufactured in the United States of America.
